DR. LADI AUSET CRENSHAW                             

FOUNDER AND EXEUCITVE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR   

Performing for more than 20 years, Dr. Ladi has an extensive

background in performing.  Coming from a performance family,

Dr. Ladi was raised in the arts and began writing at the age of

seven. She has started many performance groups across the

country that are still going strong, toured with Amistad, toured

as a spoken word artist, directed since 1995, completed two CD's, written more than 10 stage

plays, 3 screenplay, trained at wonderful companies, taught dance, writing, poetry, catwalk,

stage presence, lectured and been a chorographer across the country.  Dr. Ladi has had a

fortunate career that has spread her across many performance arts and allowed her to develop

and be taught under many great elders, artist, lawyers, and business owners.

She has shared the stage and performed with a vast spread of artist from Jay-Z to Amiri

Baraka to Brandy to Jessica Care Moore, Dr. Ladi is an artist with a mission.    

Mr. Jeffrey Nickelson sought her out after meeting her and "being in awe of her

youthful energy combined with the natural wisdom and knowledge of a veteran performer." 

After instilling patience in her, Mr. Nickelson was confident Ladi had the capabilities to be a

force in the performing art community.  Dr. Ladi's most recent work is I Hear Voices, But I'm All

Alone, Whoompty Whoomp, WomanGod and Inner Thoughts....., which has been running for

four years. 

She is excited to begin to bring her other original works to the Denver community.  She has

produced over 15 productions in Denver since 2004 and is only planning on adding to that

accomplishment.  "I don't do art merely because I want to or to prove a point.  I do this, and

have been doing this, because I HAVE to.  It's my responsibility and reason that I am on this

Earth.  Many people CHOOSE to be artist.  I AM an artist.  This is my being.  I know there are

people like me, and I only intend to provide for them what was provided for me.  Belief,

encouragement, and most of all opportunity."  Dr. Ladi Crenshaw, Founder and Executive

Artistic Director.

Dr. Ladi Auset is also a Naturopath doctor, Head Consultant at Beautiful Evolution Institute,

who specializes in spiritual, emotional, and relationship counseling.  She is

dedicated to empowering women as well.  Dr. Ladi Auset Crenshaw is the mother of three

beautiful children.
